From October 26 to October 29, 2021 the delegation of VNNIOSH headed by Dr. Vu Xuan Trung, Deputy Director General, participated in 35th Conference and Annual General Meeting of Asia Pacific Occupational Safety and Health Organization – APOSHO 35 organized in virtual form. This is the first virtual conference and AGM of APOSHO ever hosted by the Japan Industrial Safety and Health Association (JISHA).
M.A Nguyen Thanh Trung, from Branch of National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health in the Central Vietnam has his presentation: “Status of Silica Dust Pollution at the Stone Mining and Processing Facilities in Central Vietnam” contribute to the conference this year.
Beside committee meetings and AGM, under the theme of “Designing OSH for sustainable development for all”, APOSHO35 aims to improve the level of occupational safety and health in the Asian region, participating countries and companies by disseminating information, conducting joint studies, and exchanging ideas on safety and health to promote mutual understanding and build networks.
