Outstanding international cooperation activities of VNNIOSH in 2023

The year 2023 marks many international cooperation activities of VNNIOSH including outstanding activities of exchanging delegations, attending conferences and seminars and receipting international delegations to visit and seek cooperation opportunities.

Attending APOSHO 37 this year in Malaysia, the delegation of VNNIOSH including 4 delegates led by Dr. Vu Xuan Trung, Deputy Director General, Director of the Center for Occupational Health. At the conference, the delegation attended committee meetings, the annual conference, presented papers at parallel sessions and took part in the AGM.

Within the framework of the signed technical collaboration agreement in 2023 VNNIOSH and KOSHA have made efforts to reconnect cooperation activities in the field of OSH. KOSHA has invited two delegations of VNNIOSH officials to Korea to coordinate research, visit and learn experience.

The Institute also welcomed a delegation of four experts from the OSHCI and OSHRI under KOSHA to visit and share experiences and take part in the seminar in November.

Also in 2023, VNNIOSH receipted many international delegations to visit and seek cooperation opportunities, notably the delegation of officials attending the Safety and Health Advanced Management Program (SHAMP) of Graduate School of Public Health and Health Care Management (Korea), at the meeting the two sides exchanged information and updated the situation of OSH in Vietnam and Korea, thereby gaining an overview of the current status of implementing the work of protecting human safety and workers health in the two countries.
