The Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony on OSH between NILP and KISA

Under the support and permission of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (VGCL) on August 11th, 2016 the National Institute of Labour Protection (NILP) and Korea Industry Safety Association (KISA) have signed the MoU on OSH field.

Attending the signing ceremony were Dr. Do Tran Hai, member of VGCL’s Presidium, NILP’s Director General; Mr. Young Kee Kim, KISA’s Chairman; representatives for NILP and KISA; Mr. Nguyen Van Ngang, Vice President of VGCL, Mrs. Hoang Thi Thanh, member of VGCL’s Presidium, Head of International Department of VGCL; the leadership of NILP’s centers, relevant units and representatives from newspapers and magazines to attend and inform the MoU.

At the signing ceremony, on behalf of NILP and KISA, Dr Do Tran Hai and Mr Young Kee Kim have signed the MoU on OSH field. Accordingly, the two organizations will enhance the cooperation by utilizing the capacity and resources of each other in order to develop synergies and promote global disaster free society. The contents of cooperation includes: technical and educational support for disaster prevention; academic exchange; exchange of information on occupational safety; promoting joint campaigns for spreading safety culture…

Giving speech at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Ngang, Vice President of VGCL highly appreciated the assistance and support of Korea Government for Vietnam in cooperation and development activities. Hoping that in the coming time the cooperation relation between NILP and KISA will become more and more successful relating to practical activities raising up safety and health for workers at workplace.

From the 2000s, the cooperation relation between NILP and KISA had included many practical activities in OSH field. Because of some objective reasons, after an interruption, the official restoration of the relationship between NILP and KISA will upgrade the cooperation of the two organizations to a higher level for the safety and health of the workers in Vietnam and Korea.
