ABSTRACT
Study on 525 radiographs of rubber workers exposed directly to talc dust, with mean age of 34.72+-8.27 years, mean working period of 12.61+-8.42 years and 61 workers who were not exposed to talc also of that company, had similar ages and working periods to be controls. The dust concentrations at working places exceeding AHS, The exposed group had considerably higher incidence of pneumoconiosis than control group. Roentgenological forms included both opaque dots, thickening of bronchial walls and interstitial damages. Damages are more on the right than on the left side and the longer working period was, the more damage location had a tendency to concentrate at the centre and lower part of lung
