Vietnam National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health receives delegation of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency
On the morning 11 September 2026, a meeting between the Vietnam National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (VNNIOSH) and the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA) was held at the headsquater of VNNIOSH.

Attending the meeting, on VNNIOSH side were Mr. Vu Anh Duc, General Director; Mr. Vu Xuan Trung, Deputy General Director, and leaders of some units under the Institute; on KOSHA side were Mr. Jung Cheol Cha, Director of the International Cooperation Center, and Mr. Jaehwan Kim, accompanying officer.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Vu Anh Duc, General Director of VNNIOSH welcomed the KOSHA delegation to visit and have a meeting with the Institute. He emphasized the similarities in functions and tasks of the two organizations in the field of occupational safety and health and the care and protection of workers’ health, and also expressed the desire for both sides to continue maintaining and developing cooperation activities in the future, focusing on technical cooperation, training, joint research, and technology transfer in the field of occupational safety and health.

During the meeting, Mr. Jung Cheol Cha, Director of the KOSHA International Cooperation Center, thanked the Institute’s leadership for taking the time to receive and work with the delegation. He also expressed the desire that KOSHA and VNNIOSH would continue to maintain mutual delegation exchanges and move towards proposing joint research projects between the two organizations.

Basing on the needs and cooperation orientations of each side, the two organizations agreed to continue maintaining existing cooperation activities, while gradually expanding and deepening cooperation in the future. Some areas of mutual interest include training and capacity building, joint research on occupational safety and health, and the exchange of expertise, experience, and technical solutions.
The meeting contributes to strengthening the cooperative relationship between VNNIOSH and KOSHA, and also creates a foundation for both sides to continue exchanging and implementing cooperation activities that align with the needs and strengths of each organization in the future.
