Signing ceremony of the memorandum of OSH cooperation between NILP and IST
The relationship between NILP and IST has existed since the 1990s. At the invitation of NILP Director Do Tran Hai in his recent mission, Professor, Doctor Brigitta Danuser, IST Director came to Vietnam and worked with NILP. After exchanges and discussions, the two sides have signed an agreement in the spirit of cooperation of mutual benefits to boost the issues relating to occupational safety and health in the society of the two countries;
Following is the main content of the written agreement of cooperation:
– Coordinating to increase information exchange, learning experience in OSH;
– Promoting programmes on research cooperation and building collaborative projects, especially in occupational safety and stress;
– Cooperating in technical and equipment assistance and consultation;
– Training specialized staff in laboratory equipment.
Hopefully, the cooperation relations will be strongly promoted and it will improve research results and contribute to the construction of a policy on healthcare and safe, healthy workplaces for the workers.
