XXII World Congress on Safety and Health at Work 2021

The virtual congress, co-hosted by The International Labour Organization (ILO), the International Social Security Association (ISSA), theInstitute for Work & Health (IWH) and the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS), was officially opened on September 20, 2021. Representatives from VNNIOSH attending the congress were Dr. Nguyen Anh Tho, Acting Director General and Dr. Vu Xuan Trung, Deputy Director General.

The XXII World congress on Safety and Health at Work 2021took place from September 20 to September 23, 2021 in Canada with digital access to over 30 sessions over 200 experts from around the world, keynote speakers, a special media session and showcase, virtual posters, the International Safety and Health Exhibition, etc. This year, the congress focuses on 3 main topics: Innovations in Addressing Longstanding Safety and Health Challenges; Implications of the Changing World of Work for Occupational Safety and Health and Advancing a Culture of Prevention. With the motto: “Prevention in the connected age: global solutions to achieve safe and healthy work for all”, the XXII World Congress is really an international scientific forum to exchange views and experiences and knowledge, thereby giving new ideas for practical approaches and effective solutions in the field of occupational safety and health.
