ABSTRACT
Study is carried out in frame of the NILP’ Project “Investigation and assessment of working environment impacts on human health in some heavily populated industries and proposal of mitigation measures for human resource protection in the integration process”.
Three selected industries for investigation are textile – garment, leather – shoes and detergents production. Investigated data show that the working environment in these industries is still polluted by heat, noise, dust and toxic gas.  However, there is a trend of improvement due to enterprises’ efforts in applying mitigation measures.
Three enterprises represented for each industry were selected for integrated evaluation of working condition using method of Renault Profile of Working Places.  The analytical data show the most stressful factors on workers’ health in the textile – garment and leather – shoes industries are repetitive work and work content; but in the detergents production industry are unfavorable posture in materials and products carrying and work content.
Some recommendations for improvement of working condition are proposed as the need of regular working environment monitoring; investment in repair and/or installation of lighting and ventilation systems, air cleaning devices; improvement or replacement tables, chairs and equipment fitted to Vietnamese anthropology; jobs rotation; reducing work-shift; increasing workers’ responsibility and interesting of jobs.  Employers should provide appropriate personal protective equipment, OSH training courses and awareness raising activities for workers.
