Application of the kinetic heat software to determine reaction kinetics, contributing to hazard analysis of chemical reactions

To assess the chemical reaction hazards, it is necessary to determine all thermodynamic and kinetic parameters. Kinetic estimation with thermokinetics software helps optimize technological processes through improvement of reaction rate and evaluate the thermal hazards through the safety forecast software. With NETZSCH thermokinetics software, the researchers have identified the reactive kinetics parameters, estimated the thermal hazards and predicted the product of the epoxy resin hardening reaction over time.

The article was published in the Safety – Health & Working Environment numbers 1, 2 & 3/2013 of the National Institute of Labour Protection.
